ABOUT US

The English Department has always been a strong and dynamic teaching department at the LTETT.

Extra-curricular efforts have been multifaceted. Some members of the department have contributed to the teaching of interdisciplinary programmes, staged plays, invited guest speakers, organised trips to the UK (coming soon) and offered extra classes for students either with learning difficulties or with special interests (e.g. Business English) (coming soon).

In cooperation with the LTETT library, the school’s offer of English books has increased significantly in the last years. The department has also extended its own stock of useful teaching equipment (dictionaries, books of reference, CDs, DVDs, class readers etc.).

Communication and cooperation among individual members of the department is excellent, which allows for coherent and inspirational teaching. On a national level, the English department of the LTETT has been actively involved in the decision-making of the “Commission Nationale”.
