On day three, our class went on an exciting trip to Vienna. We had a packed schedule with lots of interesting activities, from presenting our Erasmus+ project to exploring famous sights and enjoying the fun side of the city.
Erasmus+ Presentation at TGM
Our day started with a visit to TGM (Technologisches Gewerbemuseum), a well-known technical school in Vienna. There, we had the opportunity to present our Erasmus+ project to students and teachers. It was a great experience to share our work and exchange ideas with them. They were really interested in our project, and we even had some interesting discussions about the differences in our school systems.
Exploring Schönbrunn Palace
After the school visit, we headed to Schönbrunn Palace, one of the most famous landmarks in Vienna. Walking through the beautiful gardens and learning about the history of the palace was fascinating. The view from the Gloriette was stunning, and we took lots of pictures.
Splitting Into Groups: Prater or Museum
In the afternoon, we split into smaller groups. Some of us went to the Prater, Vienna’s famous amusement park, and had a blast on the roller coasters and the giant Ferris wheel. Others visited the Museum of Military History, where we saw impressive exhibitions about Austria’s military past, including historical weapons and uniforms.
Sightseeing in Vienna
Later, we reunited for a city tour. We walked through the historic streets of Vienna, saw St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the Hofburg Palace, and other famous landmarks. The city’s mix of old and modern architecture was really impressive.
Dinner at “Centimeter”
To end the day, we all went to “Centimeter”, a popular restaurant known for its huge portions. The food was amazing, and we had a great time chatting about the day’s experiences.
Overall, the trip was a perfect mix of education, culture, and fun. Vienna is a beautiful city, and we all enjoyed our time there!
