On Tuesday, 03.03.2026, we spent the day in Samobor focused on innovation, sustainability, and cultural exchange.
From 10:30 to 12:00, we visited Rimac Automobili, a world-renowned company specializing in high-performance electric vehicles and advanced battery technologies. During the factory tour, we learned about the production process of electric hypercars, the development of battery systems, and the importance of innovation in modern automotive engineering. The visit gave us valuable insight into how sustainable mobility solutions are designed and produced. It was impressive to see how advanced technology, research, and environmental responsibility are combined in one company. The experience showed us how innovation can actively contribute to a more sustainable future.
From 12:00 to 14:30, we continued our program at RCK Samobor, the school that Mate Rimac, the founder of Rimac Automobili, attended during his education. There, we participated in renewable energy workshops focused on solar energy, wind power, and energy efficiency solutions. What made this visit even more meaningful was the fact that the teacher who accompanied us had also been Mate Rimac’s teacher. The teacher supported him strongly, especially by motivating him, encouraging his ideas, and helping him believe in his abilities. Being in the same educational environment where Mate Rimac once studied made the experience even more inspiring. It demonstrated how strong technical education, combined with motivation and support from teachers, can help shape future innovators. The workshops were hands-on and educational, allowing us to deepen our knowledge about sustainable technologies and the importance of environmental responsibility in modern industry and everyday life.
Between 14:30 and 15:30, we had a lunch break in Samobor. After the Lunch break, we went back to the bus to return to Zagreb.
